Clippers Injury Report
Who's out, what the injury is, and when they could be back, kept current and sourced so you're not guessing before the Oct 21 opener.
Who's Hurt
Based on reporting through Oct 13, 2026| Player | Injury | Status | What we know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brandon Ingram | Partially torn Achilles (plus heel surgery), found during heel surgery in May | Out to start season | No return timetable. Trent Redden said a partial Achilles tear heals about six months faster than a complete one. The team will reevaluate him at the start of the season. |
| Max Strus | Partial plantar fascia tear, right foot | Out to start season | Hurt in the Oct 4 preseason opener. Reevaluated in four weeks (about Nov 1), per ESPN's Shams Charania. Reported out for the Oct 21 opener. |
| Bradley Beal | Right knee inflammation | Monitor | Was not ready for the start of camp, per The Athletic's Law Murray (Sept 29). We found no update since, so his timeline is unconfirmed. |
| Yanic Konan Niederhäuser | Right foot (Lisfranc surgery in March) | Monitor | Diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury in March that ended his 2025-26 season. He is reported to still be out. We found no return date. |
| Jordan Miller | Rotator cuff surgery | Long-term | Surgery around Aug 26, with a reevaluation after roughly six months (late February 2027). |
Status words are ours, summarizing news reports. Teams update official injury reports on game days, so confirm on the NBA's official report before tip-off. Last checked Oct 13, 2026.
Why It Matters
The wing group took the hit. Ingram's Achilles and Strus's foot land on the same spot on the roster before a regular-season game has counted, which leaves Derrick Jones Jr., Gradey Dick and rookie Keaton Wagler as the depth to watch.
Ingram came over in the Kawhi Leonard trade, so his recovery is the biggest swing factor in how that deal looks. Strus's four-week check-in lands right around the Nov 1 game at Golden State.
